A Little Madness In The Spring

2018 April 18 Sleet and Snow
A little Madness in the Spring
Is wholesome even for the King,
But God be with the Clown—
Who ponders this tremendous scene—
This whole Experiment of Green—
As if it were his own!

Waiting for it all to melt away, somewhere in the dunes.
Great lines to express your intense desire for the arrival of Spring!
I love a little Emily Dickinson.
Winter feels like a distant memory now so it’s crazy that some parts of the world are still getting snow! Hope spring arrives soon for you!
Thank you! Are the cherry blossoms out in Tokyo? I ask because I planted four ‘Japanese’ cherries in my yard. They have a long way to go before they are ready to bloom. I am close to the Lake, I stay cool in summer but warmer in winter. This time of year the land is trying to warm but the lake is 30 degrees colder.
The cherry blossoms are very much over in Tokyo. They usually bloom at the end of March. I hear cherry trees take a few years before they start to bloom… hope you get some flowers soon though!
Spring starts slowly this far north. Mine will blow in May. All trees are slow this year as the Winter was long.
lovely words and photos, what an anomaly!
The more I think about it, the more I like your comment. Thank you! I have spent most of my life being called down for my choice of words. It’s refreshing to step outside my family circle and hear such a nice thing. Thanks!
and you will learn that I tend to speak the truth eg don’t say what I don’t sincerely mean … keep up the good work!
It’s been the same where I live, but I think now there is finally more than hope that it is going to get warm…forecast for a few days in the 80’s next week. Hooray!
