Cinnamon, nutmeg , ginger on watermelon and soup with rough ground bread and coffee with Southern Comfort or tea with Lemon Heart Rum and you’ve got me doing it now .
Years ago I read one of Henry David Thoreau’s Journals at the same time I was working through Emily Dickensen, that adjusted my view of the world around me into a more grateful, observant, in the moment place. Throw in Annie Dillard’s Pilgrim at Tinker’s Creek and you’ll see how I got out of control when faced with Autumnal treasures.
Beautiful riches, priceless, and they fall off the trees.
I’ve got one very similar in my yard! Cool pic!
Why, thank you!
Good picture 🙂
Thank you, these stubborn hangers on are my favorite part of fall…frost on the leaves are my favorite…apples are my favorite..no, wait….

I have fallen out of trees. Reading your perspective makes all the bruises more acceptable. 😀
Note to self: Fall of tree into large Guinness cake. 😀
Douglas Adas: Learning to Flys – Throw self at ground and miss.
Have a nice autumn day. 🙂
