God, I LOVE barhopping in Nashville, It. ALL. It’s so American, granted mostly white American, but the caliber of the musicians is outstanding. Walk by the open doorways, listen, chat up the bouncer/ticket guy, go inside and let the music wash over you.
Must be grand. I regret to say I haven’t been to Nashville. The closest was Chattanooga, which was an immense disappointment. 😉
Well, we’ve had some enjoy…Oh, OK. Chattanooga is not Nashville. I do like going up on Look Out. You can read all the Civil War histories you want but there is nothing like looking at a battlefield or contested piece of ground to make things clearer.
I’ve had some reallllllllly bad BarBQ in Chattanooga…and there is really no excuse for that.
Told you Chattanooga is really not “in”.
But historically fascinating. I like driving through it on my way south, my spouse is always all about getting there fast. Now we go through Alabama.
Good. I always stand up when I hear Lynyrd Skynyrd… 😉
(Where the sky’s always blue…)
And, thank you. This shot brings the whole experience back to me.
Honky Tonk(in) wom(i)n?
very good.
