Life in the dunes along Lake Michigan
Alternately titled, “The day after Halloween”.
THANK YOU! I saw all those lonely little pumpkin spots of dead grass and I felt it somehow captured the slightly down feeling of “Well, that was fun. WhaddawedotilChristmas?”
My American friends may be the only ones to appreciate this photo. We are pumpkin crazy. It is a national mania. We love to go to pumpkin patches to select the perfect specimen but come November first pumpkins are passe and we are all about getting on with Christmas.
great shot for lights coming in!
Pretty! What a fab picture. Hope you had a great day at the market! #pumpkinfun
Thank you. 🙂
What a great pic! you must really be into pumpkins over there, the traces speak for themselves> Love it!
It is insane…we even had a pumpkin riot in a New England town in October of 2014. I began collecting photos so I could do a post on our mania but … time… it gets away from me. My life is full of good things right now. I do that; create a folder about a specific local subject but fill my time otherwise and miss the season. Guess I’ll post my photos next fall… 🙂
