This was shot at the close of a day of cold spring storms. My winter pockets were bulging with camera gear and mittens.

I loaded a larger than average file so click for more detail. Thanks!

    • Orange and blue are very common almost cinematic undertones of our warmer weather sunsets. It is a combination I have loved since I first came here back in the early 80s.

As a matter of fact look up Orange and Blue Cinematic undertones. It is a popular combination in movies/movie posters just now.
Yeah…it’s free association day here at Dunelight.

  1. This is such a fantastic shot! Well done on you! By the way, I clicked on the image to get a larger view but it didn’t do anything? Am i missing something here?

    • Don’t get me wrong for we have many uninspiring grey sky days, more than Seattle, but the quality of the light early in the mornings and late in the day is pure magic.
